Roy-Lincoln

My name is Roy.  I can’t really tell you my history as I was picked up off of the streets in skin and bones condition and no one ever came to reclaim me.  My age was originally guestimated to be four but the rescue vets put me closer to two between my adolescent behaviors and teeth.

I am a diamond in the ruff.  I love people and all I want to do is play.  I still like to do puppy like mouthing behaviors.  It is likely someone played “rough” with me when I was young.  I am willing to learn different behaviors because I will do most anything for a food or treats!  Highly food motivated.  I know “sit”, “lay” “shake” and “give five” so I do have some commands under my belt – and I do want to please!

When I see other dogs I get so excited and talkative.

I am a very loving boy, willing to please and full of life and fun.  I would do best in a home with current Doberman experience – people who understand adolescent Doberman behavior who will provide patient consistent leadership and training for me so I can flourish and grow into a mannered gentleman!  I have all of the right ingredients I just need the right person.
