My name is Red and I will be two years old in July. My journey to rescue has been a long one. My original family fell apart and couldn’t keep me any more so a very nice family took me in with the intention of finding me the perfect forever home. They worked with me a lot and then recently gave me to the rescue to find that perfect home.
I have not been socialized a lot in my life so new situations can make me apprehensive. I am a good boy with lots of energy and I want to learn and grow. I need to go to a home who has current young Doberman experience who will understand my exercise, training and socialization needs and continue to help me grow in those areas. This is extremely important for me.
I am intense and loving. I walk fairly well on lead and my temporary family taught me that and some other basic commands. I have lived with other dogs but living with a female would be the best fit for me. I’d love a pretty girl to play with.
I am intense, sometimes goofy, active and loving but I have a serious side, too. If you are interested in me please review the adoption criteria and area. If you qualify, click the Adoption Form
