My name is Bo and I am three years old. I am a new arrival in rescue and traveled quite a distance to get here. I am tall, leggy and handsome but I don’t want to be loved for my looks. I want to be cherished for who I am and all that I can become so please don’t apply for me just because you want a Doberman with cropped ears.
My foster mom thinks I would be a great agility dog. I LOVE to run and run and run! For this reason, I would do best in a home with a six-foot privacy fence.
I ride well in the car and do well in a crate. I haven’t been around many dogs but so far the ones I have been around I am doing well with. No little dogs and no cats for me, please. Again, I am just too big and energetic for that.
It would be best if I go into a home where the people have recent experience in owning a Doberman so they can work with me and train me properly. Obedience class is a must and a home that will provide me plenty of exercise for my energy and give calm patient leadership to me.
More will be posted about me as the volunteers get to know me better.
If you are interested in me, please look over the adoption area and requirements. If you fit those, then please submit an application here.
