Our names are Ava and Dillon and we are 6 and 5 respectively. We have lived together as long as we can remember and are VERY bonded to one another. We had lived with our family all of our lives but one day they just up and abandoned us so the world as we always knew it has been turned completely inside out. We were never exposed to much in the world and now the world is kind of a scary place to us at times.
We are both high strung but especially, Ava. We know basic commands and are eager to please. We know “sit”, “down” “stay” and “shake” and we love to work for treats. Ava walks well on a regular collar, Dillon pulls much harder. Dillon can be quite a clown when trying to get treats and Ava has potential to be a real cuddlebug once she gets settled in to her new family.
We would very much like to get adopted together and here is our adoption criteria:
Must have CURRENT Doberman experience and working knowledge of the breed. Good but patient leadership skills
No other resident dogs, No cats, No kids under 12
UPDATE: AVA AND DILLON HAVE COME A LONG WAY IN THEIR SOCIAL SKILLS! THEY ARE SO HAPPY AND EAGER TO LEARN AND TO GROW! WE REALLY DESIRE TO KEEP THESE TWO TOGETHER IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. DILLON REALLY LOOKS TO AVA. AVA WALKS VERY WELL ON A LEAD, DILLON IS VERY STRONG. WE ARE CONTINUING TO WORK ON THEIR SKILLS AND ARE HOPEFUL THAT THE RIGHT APPLICATION COMES ALONG SOON.
