There’s no sugar coating this and Its painful to see and difficult for us to understand. 594 days that AJ has been waiting, watching, hoping, dreaming for someone to finally choose him.

He’s watched many friends come and go.

 

Before rescue, AJ was found abandoned in the middle of nowhere. No collar, no microchip, no one coming back. Just a lonely dog trying to survive on his own. Thankfully, a kind soul found him and got him to safety and he’s been patiently waiting ever since for his second chance.

AJ is everything you’d want in a family dog. He’s loyal, affectionate, goofy, and happiest just being near his people. He loves going for wallks, belly rubs, and lounging by your side during movie nights. He’s the kind of dog who looks at you like you’re his whole world because to him, you are.   However, he does not get along well with cats.

 

AJ does need to be the only dog in the home BUT there’s something truly special about being someone’s one and only:

One bowl to fill

One leash to grab for walks

One happy face greeting you every single day

And one heart completely devoted to you

 

He’s been overlooked for far too long, not because he’s not perfect, but because he’s waiting for the person who sees him for the amazing dog he is – Could that person be you?
