My name is Levi and I am not quite one year old. I am a very handsome dark blue boy.
I have seen more pain in my short life than a dog should have to see. First the people didn’t want to pay for an ear crop so they did it themselves. Same on my neuter. They didn’t bother to take me to a vet. Fortunately, I was taken into animal control where I was treated for infection and sent a long distance to rescue where I completed my medical care.
I don’t hold grudges but I do want a family that will treat me lovingly and patiently. I am a sweet boy who is eager to learn, to grow and to be treated with affection.
I haven’t been taught a lot of things but I sure do want to learn. I will work hard to please my new family. I would like a canine companion to play with but no toy size dogs, please. I need a bigger sturdier playmate.
My new family must:
Have experience with young Dobermans – recent experience- so they understand young Doberman behavior.
Take me to obedience school.
Be loving, patient and consistent with training and leadership.
I have so much love to give and I am ready for a new start. I really believe that there are people out there who will love me the way I should be loved.
Please go to www.doberescue-ne.org and look at the adoption rules and area and if you qualify, the application is right there as well.
