Jessie

My name is Jessie and I am a three year old Doberman mix. I wanted to give you an update on myself now that I am in a foster home. I am learning to let life happen and enjoy it rather than trying to control everything. I can have a life and not be a control freak! I am reaching out to my new foster sister. I kind of like her and am letting her teach me how to play some of her favorite games. It’s great fun! We are trying to figure out how to play “Operation” but do you know how hard it is to work those tweezers when you don’t have opposable thumbs? Ok, not really, we play games that dogs like to play!

My foster mom thinks I am just a sweetie and she loves my “happy dance”. I do it when I want to go for a walk or eat. I love being a part of the family and meeting people and I really want to belong to a forever family soon. Give me a chance and I will roll over and show you my belly and beg you to rub it.

I will still need to go into a home where I have structure but that really applies to any dog. We need to know the rules and I love it when I get the rules right because I really am a girl who wants to please! I have a great capacity to love, be loved and to learn! By the way, I like cats too and I ride nicely in the car.

So come and check me out and apply for me at www.doberescue-ne.org.
